Reconfigurable spin polarizer based on a molecular motor
Chirality-Induced Spin Selectivity (CISS) is an effect that orients spin polarization of electrical current that is passing through a chiral molecule. Recently, we have combined CISS effect with an artificial molecular motor that switches its chirality by photo-irradiation or by heat treatment. The details can be found here.
