Superconducting FET
Mott-insulator is a unique insulating material that can switch to superconductor by pressure, strain, and/or carrier doping. We have succeeded in developing the first organic superconducting transistor by utilizing electrostatic doping or strain effect that can be controlled in a field-effect-transistor (FET) based on thin single crystal of an organic Mott-insulator.
